More Serenity Blog Candy!

I told you yesterday about how the design team for Clear Artistic Stamps is giving away stamps sets, just for visiting their blogs and leaving a comment, right? Well, here is one more link that you can go to for a chance to win:

Lovely Linsey

Be sure to check out the beautiful card that Lins made with one of the new sets! And don't forget that the big release is tonight at 6pm Central time at the Clear Artistic Stamps site.

P.S. Here's a photo of a dolphin that we saw when we went on a Dolphin Cruise last week. We saw lots of them, but they sure are hard to get a photo of.

I'm back from vacation/Links to BLOG CANDY!

We just got back from our trip to Hilton Head Island, SC. What fun we had at the beach everyday! Here is a shot of my bathing beauties getting ready to splash in the waves.

And yes, I have some links for you to get a chance to win some stamps! Clear Artistic Stamps is releasing two new stamp sets on Monday, June 30th at 6pm Central. The sets are called "Delicate Moments"
and "Shadows of Memories" and are both in the Serenity Collection. The first set in this collection ("Whispers of Dreams") sold out right away and is now again available also.

Some design team members (not me because of my vacation) have blog entries where you can comment to enter to win a stamp set. You can also see some sneak peeks of how the gals have used some of the stamps. Here's where you go:

Extraordinary Etha

Wonderful Wendi
Gorgeous Gwen

And one more thing! Be sure to check out the Clearance Sale at CAS of single stamps. All on sale for $1.50! That's a savings of up to $2.00 each on those beauties.

One more vacation pic: My girls in front of the lighthouse on the island. We walked up to the top--the view was beautiful.

Chipboard Tag Book

I made this tag memory book for the same baby that will receive the quilt in my last post. I got the chipboard book from Oriental Trading, who have started to carry lots of papercrafting supplies. American Crafts had the cutest pink papers, and I got some green papers from Pebbles to make a cute combination. There were 8 tags to cover, so I needed lots of paper!

I used stamps from the Tiny Button Baby stamp set from Clear Artistic Stamps, as well as the Journal Blocks set from Firecracker Designs.

I left some pages almost blank, so her Mommy could add some photos. I hope they like this as much as I do!

P.S. I'm going on vacation tomorrow (yippee!) and will not be available until June 29. If you need me, just comb the beaches of South Carolina--that's where I'll be parked next week!

I'm Sewing Again!

Thanks to one illness after another, I haven't felt like sitting down to my sewing machine lately. But today I finished this baby quilt which I had a blast making. Aren't the bright colors great? They are from the Splish Splash collection by Moda. The pattern is called Baby Steps from e-patternscentral.com.

The quilt is going to my daughters' ballet teacher, who just had a baby girl. Three weeks ago she was actually dancing at the recital. Tap-dancing no less! She amazes me.

I made this card using a watercolor background made from Twinkling H2Os, which is much more shimmery in real life than in this scan! The floral stamp is from the Tiny Button Baby stamp set from Clear Artistic Stamps.

Speaking of which, this stamp set is part of the weekly special at CAS. For only $12.95 you can purchase the Tiny Button Baby stamp set along with a Little Bear Gift Book. It's a great combo that would make a wonderful gift for a stamper who is expecting a child or grandchild. And all purchases count toward a new incentive program at CAS where you can receive the Secrets of Butterflies stamp set for free. Check it out!

June Sketch and Palette

This card is made using the color palette and card sketch for June that you can find on the Clear Artistic Stamps site under the heading "So Right Now". There is a new sketch and color palette every month to inspire your papercrafts.

I made this card using the Blackberry Fields stamp set. All cardstock is from Stampin Up. I used colors Taken with Teal, Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery, Creamy Caramel and Whisper White.

This is a very summery palette and a great layout that would work well for a scrapbook page. Give it a try!

A Chance for Free Stamps!

Here's how it works: Head over to Clear Artistic Stamps and leave a comment in the guest book (one per day). On June 20th, 3 names will be chosen to win the Blackberry Fields and Sweet Peach Garden stamp sets. It's that easy, so why not go for it?

Also, here is a card that I just finished using a sentiment from the Whispers of Dreams set from CAS. I had the scroll rub-on that was slightly curved, so when I mounted the acrylic stamp onto the mounting block, I curved the stamp up a little on the ends. I was thrilled to find that it fit perfectly! And since I could see through the stamp, it was easy to position. I love that!

Weekly Special

First of all, SCRATCH what I said in the last post about being unavailable this week. Thanks to a nasty bug that hit me last night, I am not leaving town as planned. So feel free to email me since I'm just laying here in bed with my laptop for company.

Secondly, check out the weekly special at Clear Ar
tistic Stamps! It is the Nature in Word set that is available for only $10.95 this week. Isn't it gorgeous? Perfect for summer cards. And of course your purchase will count toward the great new incentive program that was just announced!

You Inspire Me

I made this ATC from a postcard that was advertising an art exhibit. What can I say besides, "It inspired me!"

I'm out of town for the next three days, so I will be in touch this weekend. Have a good week!

Fantastic Incentives!

At Clear Artistic Stamps, Belinda has unveiled her new incentive plan! She is offering a beautiful new stamp set called Secrets of Butterflies on qualifying purchases. You can't buy this set in the store, so it is very special.

And if that wasn't enough, there is a very generous reward for having a card published with CAS stamps. Check it out here.

More Spring Solitude

Stampin' Up's Spring Solitude set is really keeping me busy. You just gotta love that little bird. The paper is from basic grey, the sultry collection. It came in a 6x6 pad which is so convenient for cardmaking.

Have a good Sunday!

Some Summer Cards

Isn't this a pretty stamp? It's from Stamp Oasis at Rubbernecker. I stamped in brown and colored with Stampin' Up chalks (with color choices made under the direction of my 9 year old!) The sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms.

This is a hostess set that I received from Stampin' Up. I love this color combination--Apricot Appeal, Cameo Coral and Very Vanilla. It really feels like a summer card to me!

P.S. I took my first trip to Chicago recently. One of the many wonderful sites was in Millenium Park. This sculpture is called Cloudgate. It's a must-see!

Blackberry Fields

Summer has officially arrived at my house! What better way to celebrate than with thoughts of summer treats, such as ripe berries. The weekly special at Clear Artistic Stamps is the Blackberry Fields stamp set for only $10.95. I made this card with one of the stamps from that set:

I stamped the image with brown ink and added white and gold paint as accents. The beautiful reversible paper is from Prima.

If you head over to Wendi's Blog, you will have an opportunity to earn a prize package that she is offering. It is in celebration of an event that will be announced on Monday on the Clear Artistic Stamps site. Belinda has so
me great ideas to spark our summer stamping and she will start unveiling on Monday, so don't miss out! If you want a sneak peek, the yahoo group has already heard the news, so all you have to do is join.

P.S. My poppies are blooming!
