For those of you in California, you know how the budget problems are affecting government services, including the schools. My friend Fabiola saw how hard her children's elementary school was hit by the current economy, and instead of sitting around complaining, she decided to do something about it. She is opening a thrift store where all of the proceeds will go to the school. Isn't that a great idea? Fabiola is such an inspiration! I hope she can inspire each one of us to invest our time and energy into our community.
